Set of four framed illustrated and coloured plates (to scale) published and printed in the 1964, depicting well known sailing ships.
This set comprises of:
The Brig 'Marie Sophie'
The Plymouth Cutter 'Erycina'
The Three Masted Topsail Schooner 'Result'
The Spiritsail Barge 'Giralda'
Very light characteristic patina is present, including some wonderful light foxing.
This set would look equally at home as a gallery set on a feature wall or in a row along a hall or landing wall as it would in a commercial setting such as a public house, restaurant, hotel, sailing club etc.
These are presented in bespoke, hand-crafted mounts and black wooden frames with glass.
